Stage 3 :: Design & Visuals
We will now begin to design and create the look and feel of your website.
A selection (a minimum of 3) visuals will be produced and presented to you showing the main areas of the website.
Home Page
The most important page of your site, the first page visitors and
potential clients will see. The correct first impression must be
projected if it is to inspire confidence in your company, product or services offered.
As B2B specialists we put ourselves in the shoes of your potential
customer. A clear, clean, easy to navigate approach is always the way
to go.
Although we need to ensure a visitor can tell in an instant what your
business is about, they will tend to scan the homepage for relevant
items or links of value to them. A short paragraph or mission statement
is usually all that is required about your company, more indepth
information can be provided in the
'About Us' section. Instead we recommend focusing on benefits to the
customer and providing the information that they want. However,
overwhelm the visitor with too irrelevant or untargetted
information at this stage and they will just move on to another website
- so we work with you using our experience in branding, to ensure this
doesn't happen and instead the site becomes 'sticky'.
Content Pages
One or more sub-pages will also be designed to accompany the home
page. These sub-page designs will demonstrate how the actual content of the website will be displayed and also
show different section styles where applicable.
Additional visuals may be produced to demonstrate specialised areas
of the website, eg. dynamic areas or admin areas not visable to the
general public.
Site Elements
Throughout the design visuals alternative colours, navigation
items, including rollovers if applicable, and image styles will all be shown providing you with a complete
guide to how your website will look.
We don't rush you through this stage - we won't move forward until
you are completely 100% happy with the look and feel. Once you sign-off
the look and feel stage - we move on...
